Student's Choice Proposal

For the student's choice project we have a choice of researching either an AR or VR topic.

I would like to do VR applications in theme parks. Recently I had gone to Las Vegas for the first time and got to experience riding a roller coaster with a VR headset on and would like to talk about my experience and also look into the following: 

• How many other places in the world do VR roller coaster experiences?

• What are the drawbacks of this?

• Are there any other potential uses for VR in a theme park like Six Flags besides on roller coasters?

• What are the financial gains vs losses? (How much would it cost to design/set up, what would the expected returns be, is it a potentially doable thing for most theme parks)
